I haven't effectively given a critique on poetry in over 5 years. I haven't written any poetry in over 6. At this point, for me to give you anything, be it cold hard facts or no, would be blatantly riddled with my own flaws for having forgotten the basic necessities for writing. What I can say is atleast you're not writing about death, morbid scenery (though sanguine is borderline depending on how you look at it) and other things meant to depress someone.
